Bankruptcy Law

Bankruptcy law provides a lifeline for individuals and businesses overwhelmed by debt, offering a pathway to regain financial stability and a fresh start. There are various chapters, each detailing specific types of bankruptcy reorganization. Chapter 7, for instance, enables individuals to liquidate their non-exempt assets to pay off creditors, while Chapters 11 and 13 facilitate businesses and individuals to restructure their debt under court supervision. Navigating these complexities requires expert legal guidance to protect the debtor's rights and maximize the benefits of the bankruptcy process.

Personal Injury

Personal injury law is another crucial area of legal practice. It relates to times when one party injures another party's body, mind, or emotions because of their negligence. This can range from accidents in the workplace and car accidents to defective products and premises liability. Personal injury law aims to compensate the injured party so they can cover medical expenses, loss of wages, and other damages. A skilled personal injury attorney can advocate for the victim's rights and negotiate a fair settlement.

Accident Compensation

Accident compensation is a crucial aspect of personal injury law. When a person suffers an injury in an accident due to someone else's negligence or intentional act, they are entitled to compensation for their pain and suffering. This compensation may cover medical bills, rehabilitation costs, loss of income, as well as non-economic damages like pain and suffering and emotional distress. A skilled attorney can help victims navigate the legal complexities and negotiate with insurance companies to secure the maximum compensation. It's important to understand that each case is unique, and compensation will depend on the specific circumstances and severity of the injuries.

Civil Representation

Civil representation covers a broad spectrum of legal matters, from contract disputes to negligence claims. Civil representation attorneys are able to provide advice and guidance on the best steps to take during proceedings. They can also defend your case in court when necessary, providing you with experienced and knowledgeable counsel throughout the entire process. Civil representation attorneys can also help negotiate settlements that favor their clients, ensuring they get an equitable outcome. When navigating civil representation issues, it is important to have a reliable and experienced attorney on your side who can work towards obtaining the best possible results for you. If you are in the Eastern Massachusetts or Cape Cod area, we at Daigle Law Office are highly experienced in civil representation.

At Daigle Law Office, we understand the importance of having a dependable ally during difficult legal matters and are committed to providing personalized service and support to get you through it. We strive to provide our clients with top-notch representation and reliable guidance for any legal issue.

Attorney Peter Daigle

If you’re reading this book the chances are that there has been a financial bump in the road for you or someone you know. It is nearly impossible to get through life unscathed. When I look around at those in my life I see all sorts of unforeseen circumstances that have caused major life changes, whether it is illness, divorce, job or business loss.

My career as an attorney began where my previous one left off, as a real estate developer and general contractor who got caught in a down market. Despite all of the successes I had, it didn’t end up the way I planned. It all happened to me… foreclosure, judgments, creditors, IRS. You name it. It could be happening to you. I’ve felt your pain. I’ve awaken up at 3 am worrying about how to deal with creditors; felt my pulse elevate every time the phone rang; and afraid to open my mail.

So, with my fresh start I went to law school and became a bankruptcy attorney and it has changed my life. It is my turn to fight for you using my professional skills and my real world experience to get you a fresh start. I now spend my day counseling individuals and families on options based on their circumstances. In all cases we come up with a plan. And with that plan they feel empowered and rejuvenated….ready to take their life back. Armed with a discharge in bankruptcy they are able to start over with all of their possessions intact and their credit score on the mend.

It all begins with knowledge to dispel the myths of bankruptcy and that is the reason for this book. There is too much misinformation out there. You’ll get it from your family, friends, acquaintances, and overhear it in the grocery store. It’s time to learn The Truth about Bankruptcy in Massachusetts.
